Our one-of-a-kind tote bags with a shoulder straps with adjustable lengths are thoughtfully made from authentic Shibori Indigo African mud cloth.It features strips of cotton that are hand dyed with indigo dyes and sewn together. Each piece is unique.  African mud cloth, also called Bogolan (‘colored with earth’), is a traditional technique that has been mastered by the artisans of Mali and woven deeply into their culture. The cotton is spun, woven, dyed, and painted by hand. The beautiful earthy colors come from the natural botanicals and fermented mud used when dying.
